Welcome to FAJU!
We are so glad you’re here. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we’re talking about FAJU. We run this website and shop to provide you with a curated, creative experience.
These Terms of Service (let’s just call them "the rules of the road") are here to help you understand how we work and what we expect from each other. By hanging out on our site or buying something lovely, you’re agreeing to these terms. If they don’t sit right with you, then you probably shouldn't use the site—but we hope you stay!
1. Your Account & Access
To keep things running smoothly, we ask that you are at least 18 years old (the age of majority in the UK). If you’re a parent letting your younger teens browse, that’s fine, but you’re responsible for their activity.
When you create an account or buy something, please make sure your details (like your email and shipping address) are accurate and up to date. Your account is yours alone—keep your password safe, as you’re responsible for everything that happens under your login.
2. Our Products
We take great care to show our products as accurately as possible. However, because every computer or phone screen is a little different, the colours and textures might look slightly different in person than they do on your screen.
We’re always growing and changing, so we might update product descriptions or prices from time to time. If we ever need to discontinue a product or limit how many of an item someone can buy, we reserve the right to do that—but we'll always try to be fair about it.
3. Your Orders
When you click "buy," you’re making an offer to purchase. We’ll send you an email to confirm we’ve received your order, but the "contract" between us is only official once we’ve processed your payment and sent your items.
If we can’t accept an order for some reason (like a stock error), we’ll let you know as soon as possible and refund you immediately. Please double-check your basket before you pay, as we move quickly to get orders out and might not be able to change things once you've hit "confirm."
4. Pricing & Payments
All our prices are clearly marked. In the UK, prices will include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout so there are no surprises.
From time to time, we might run special promotions. These usually have their own little set of rules, and if those rules clash with these general terms, the promotion rules take the lead for that specific purchase.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We want you to get your FAJU goodies as fast as possible! While we provide estimated delivery dates, these are just estimates. Sometimes things like courier delays or "acts of nature" happen that are out of our hands. Once the parcel leaves us and is with the carrier, it’s officially on its way to you.
6. Our Intellectual Property
We’ve worked hard on our brand. Everything you see here—the logos, the beautiful images, the text, and the designs—belongs to FAJU or our partners. We’re happy for you to use the site for your own personal shopping, but please don't copy, sell, or "borrow" our content for your own commercial use without asking us first.
7. Third-Party Links & Shopify
Our shop is powered by Shopify. They provide the platform that allows us to sell to you, but your contract for the goods is with us, not them.
Sometimes we might link to other websites or use third-party tools (like a specific payment or shipping app). We can’t control what happens on those other sites, so while we only work with people we trust, using those links is at your own discretion.
8. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us immensely. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy [LINK] and UK GDPR. Because we use Shopify, they also handle some of your data to make the checkout process work. You can read more about how we keep your info safe in our policy.
9. Feedback & Reviews
We love hearing from you! If you send us a review or a suggestion, you’re giving us permission to use that feedback to improve FAJU or show off how much our customers love us. We won't pay you for reviews, but we will appreciate them! Just please keep things respectful—we don't allow comments that are unlawful or unkind.
10. The "Common Sense" Rules
We expect everyone to use our site legally and kindly. That means no hacking, no spreading viruses, no "scraping" our data with bots, and no being mean to our staff or other customers. If someone breaks these rules, we might have to say goodbye and close their account.
11. If Things Go Wrong (Liability)
In the UK, you have certain legal rights (your statutory rights) that we cannot—and would not want to—ignore. This includes your right to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Outside of those legal requirements, we provide the site "as is." We can't promise the site will be 100% error-free or online every single second of the day. To the fullest extent the law allows, FAJU isn't liable for indirect losses (like lost profits) if something goes wrong. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
12. Governing Law
We are a British company, so these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If we ever have a dispute that we can’t settle over a friendly email, it will be handled by the courts in that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
As FAJU grows, we might need to update these terms. We’ll post the newest version right here, and the "last updated" date will let you know what’s new.
